Resume preparation service “It’s All About You!”

Resume preparation service “It’s All About You!” It’s about performance in past jobs, especially accomplishments in those jobs. The eésumé is a brief document highlighting and promoting a job seekers skills and abilities, and it is used to present a prospective employee in the best possible light for the purpose of getting to the interview. More and more employers required the résumé and a cover letter as part of an employment application. Make a strong first impression by learning how to create a résumé that presents your skills and experience in the most positive light. Additionally, an effective cover letter can help you set yourself apart from other applicants by highlighting your background in a personal way, allowing an employer the opportunity to get to know you rather than just your skills and experiences. For help getting started, review sample résumé and résumé formats in the Job Preparation Center. Attend a workshop to get started developing your résumé. Then, if you need additional assistance, schedule an appointment with an employment specialist.

Think You Can’t Afford a Professional Résumé Writing Service?

Think You Can’t Afford a Professional Résumé Writing Service? Think again. Many individuals, including HR professionals, career counselors, friends and neighbors, can critique a résumé, but few can actually craft a résumé. A well-crafted, targeted résumé will improve your odds of being invited to interview. After all, how can you land the job if you don’t have an opportunity to interview? A résumé is one of the key marketing tools that you need to demonstrate your brand, your unique selling proposition, and most importantly, the results that you have achieved in the workplace. A résumé is not an autobiography, it is a marketing tool designed to get you noticed and your foot in the door for a critical first interview. In nine years of writing and re-writing résumés, I have found that most are relatively weak. But the majority of job seekers who send me their résumé to review think theirs is just fine. A professional résumé writer can quickly determine whether your résumé needs some minor adjustments—or major surgery. A professional’s expert eye can help you position yourself more effectively for the change you seek. If you have employment gaps, or are a stay-at-home mom returning to the workforce, or if you have other concerns, a specialist can craft successful strategies for managing them. A professional resume writing has the advantage of being prepared by a specialist who is familiar with the key industry terms as well as with grammar, spelling, and punctuation. You might be asking yourself, Why would anyone pay to have a résumé professionally written? Why should I spend my hard-earned cash on a résumé rewrite?

This speech follows a slightly different format

This speech follows a slightly different format as noted on the speech evaluation form and notes on Monroe’s Motivated Sequence. You will set up your outline accordingly, following each step in the sequence. After your intro, you will explain the need for the action you are requesting of the audience. Then you will describe the satisfaction, telling about similar efforts that have been successful and/or theories that tell us this action will be successful for this problem. In addressing the solution to the problem, you will clearly identify objections and counter them. We will not do a debate speech in this class, but you might imagine the silent objections and skepticism of your audience and be very clear in addressing them. You will next show visualizations of the problem if it continues as well as the solution. An emotional appeal is particularly compelling in this type of persuasive speech and you will want to consider an appropriate example or story. Finally, you will conclude with a call to action. The tricky part of this speech is research that directly addresses your claims, not just your topic. You want to cite facts, testimony, and examples that demonstrate credible sources and support your purpose. If you only make a statement without addressing the source, it is only your opinion. There is the potential to pick a topic and give information without persuading your audience. Be sure to remember your purpose: ‘to persuade’! This speech will be followed by an opportunity to answer 2 questions from the audience. You should follow the guidelines for question and answer sessions described in class. This includes immediately paraphrasing the question before answering, directing the answer to the entire audience, and how to deal with hostile questions. Your respect for your audience can affect your speech grade. You need 5 sources minimum for this speech (closer to 10 for an A), persuasive speech ideas and a graph/chart in your visual aids. An outline and bibliography will be turned in.
